# Azure

> Connect Azure in Synthflow so Synthflow LLMs run with your Azure API key and private endpoint.

Use the Azure integration when you want Synthflow LLMs, such as GPT-4.1 and GPT-5.2, to run with your own Azure credentials. In practice, this means Synthflow uses your Azure API key and Azure endpoint URL for model access instead of a shared key.

The Azure URL you enter is the private endpoint created in your Azure environment for your resource.

## Before you connect

Make sure you have:

* An active Azure resource in your Azure subscription.
* The Azure API key for that resource.
* The Azure endpoint URL for that resource.
* A supported Azure API version value.

## Connect Azure in Synthflow

Go to **Settings** > **Integrations**, find **Azure**, and click **Connect**. In the connection form, enter:

* **API Base URL**: Your Azure endpoint URL.
* **API Version**: The API version used by your Azure resource.
* **API Key**: Your Azure API key.

Click **Connect** to save the integration.

## How this integration works

After connection, Synthflow can route supported Synthflow LLM traffic through your Azure setup using your credentials. This applies to Synthflow-offered models that are available through your Azure configuration.

## FAQ

Integrating Azure means that for Synthflow LLMs, such as GPT-4.1 and GPT-5.2, Synthflow uses your Azure API key and endpoint URL to access the model.

Use the endpoint URL from your Azure resource. This is the private endpoint Azure creates for your environment.

Yes. You can use your own API key or your own Azure API key, depending on how you want to run model access.
