## New `user-canceled` call status

When a caller hangs up within the first second, before the agent answers, the call now reports a `user-canceled` [status](/webhooks#call-status-options) with a matching `user_canceled` [end-call reason](/webhooks#end-call-reason-options). Both appear in the [Get a call](/api-reference/n/n) API response and in post-call webhooks. Calls with this status are [not billed](/usage#call-states).
