# RingCentral

> Connect RingCentral to Synthflow over SIP. Choose the RingEX or RingCX integration depending on your RingCentral product.

Synthflow integrates with two different RingCentral products: **RingEX** and **RingCX**. They are not interchangeable. Each uses a different SIP integration model, so pick the guide that matches your RingCentral license.

## Integrations available

Register Synthflow as a SIP extension on a RingEX cloud phone system.

Run Synthflow as an Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) in RingCX voice queues.

## Comparison

The two products use fundamentally different integration models. Use the comparison below to choose.

## FAQ

RingEX is RingCentral's cloud business phone system; Synthflow connects by registering as a SIP extension. RingCX is RingCentral's contact centre platform; Synthflow connects as an Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) that RingCX routes voice queue calls into. They use different setups, so follow the guide for the product you have.

Yes. SIP trunking and both RingCentral integrations are available on the Synthflow Enterprise plan.

No for RingEX. SIP extensions registered through Synthflow cannot initiate outbound calls. For RingCX, Synthflow handles inbound voice queue calls routed from the RingCX workflow.
