Set-up an Outbound Call Zapier

This guide shows you how to set up an outbound call integration between Zapier and Synthflow. By following these steps, you can automate the process of initiating outbound calls and trigger specific actions in Synthflow whenever an outbound call is made.

Set-up an Outbound Call with Zapier

Tip: Before you start you are going to need a few things.

  1. A trigger or location with the name and phone number of the people you want to call.
  2. The Model ID of the Agent you want to call with.

1. I will be using Google sheets for my trigger but you can use any trigger that gives you text data.

2. For this I will be using 1 Synthflow call action step.

3. Here is my data, for this I will only be using a name and phone number.

4. Here you will need the Model ID of the agent

5. We will start by setting up our first Trigger to Trigger on a new or updated spreadsheet row.

This will make sure that every number we add gets a call.

6. You can change this to which ever trigger you need, if you only want to check new rows you can also do that.

7. Make sure to set up your correct account here.

8. Next configure the Trigger to pull in the information for the correct worksheet,

You can use the Trigger column here to set the Zap to only trigger when a phone number is added instead of when you add a name only.

9. Next Test it and get some test data.

10. Once the test data is in you can move on to the next step!

11. To Setup the Synthflow step its similar to the Trigger, whereby you will need to choose the app, set the event you want to do and connect your Synthflow account.

12. Next this is where you need the Model ID from inside Synthflow of the agent you want to use.

You can connect the phone number and name by pressing the plus button on the right.

13. Once that's completed you can move over to testing

14. Please note once you test it a voice call will begin and Synthflow will call the number that you have given it.
