Step 3.2: Information Extraction

Learn how to set up an info extractor action and understand its functionality.

Start by navigating to the prompt tab.

Step 1: Click on the info extractor action.

Step 2: Add a question.

Three options are available for the type of question:

1. Simple Boolean option: This results in a true or false response. For example, "Is the user interested in buying our services?"

2. Single choice: This forces the AI to choose among multiple options. For example, "Is the user interested in location x, y, or z?"

3. Open question: This allows for a more open-ended response. The AI will attempt to find the answer through the transcript.

Adding an Open Question

Step 1: Write an example question. Add the name and the identifier. For instance, "What is the user's email?"

Step 2: Add this question to your prompt. Instruct the AI assistant to ask the user his email during the call.

Output Examples

In some cases, a specific format is helpful, such as when you're trying to find an address. If not, leave it empty.

Step 1: If you want to add a format, add at least three examples.

Creating the Info Extractor

Step 1: Click on the Create button to add the info extractor.

You're able to add multiple actions, which will be available for you to retrieve when you capture the Webhook after the call ends.
