About supported languages
To change your agent’s language, open the agent editor and go to Global Settings > General.
The language you select affects both how your agent understands spoken input (speech-to-text) and how it generates spoken output (text-to-speech). Choosing the right language and transcriber combination ensures accurate recognition and natural-sounding responses.
Transcribers
Synthflow supports two transcribers for speech-to-text:
- Deepgram — a robust transcription service with strong English language support.
- Synthflow STT — Synthflow’s native speech-to-text engine.
We recommend using Synthflow STT for non-English languages for optimal transcription accuracy.
Supported Languages
Synthflow voice agents can speak and understand these languages:
- Multilingual (seamlessly switches between English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, and Dutch)
- English (you can choose between American, British and Australian accents)
