Telephony options in Synthflow AI

1. Twilio integration

You can connect your Twilio account to enable Twilio’s cloud-based phone system for calls and SMS within Synthflow AI.

To set up the integration, you’ll need your Twilio SID and Auth Token to sync the two platforms. This option is ideal if you already use Twilio and want to integrate it with your Assistant.

2. Buying phone numbers

You can buy phone numbers through Synthflow AI, but this is recommended only for testing purposes. For long-term use and scalability, you should connect your own Twilio account and buy numbers directly through Twilio.

Keep in mind that once you connect your Twilio account, you will lose access to any numbers previously purchased through Synthflow AI. Managing numbers through Twilio ensures you can scale efficiently.

3. Verified Caller ID

You can use an existing business number for outbound calls instead of buying a new one. This helps ensure your calls appear legitimate and reduces the risk of getting them labeled as spam.

It’s a great option if you want to maintain brand consistency by keeping your established phone number.
